The Thunder finally got on the board, with 7:43 remaining in the 4th quarter when quarterback Cody Anderson (from Albrook high school) scored on a quarterback draw, after relieving the game's starter Michael Davis. The ensuing extra point was missed 'wide left' to conclude the scoring 21-6 for Central Lakes win.

Cornerback John Green (Miami Springs High School) had a 40 yard kick return in the first half, and safety Horace Terry (Tavares Florida) intercepted a Central Lakes pass to lead the Thunder defense and special teams play.
