This season I'm shooting UMD Women's hockey games for another section of my website. This season the UMD women are playing with less players, while a bunch of them are off getting ready for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.

Cloquet's Kirsti Hakala returned to the Bulldogs for her senior season after playing for Wisconsin-Superior 2 seasons ago and sitting out last season.
Duluth's Gina Dodge has been getting a lot of ice time and taking a lot of important faceoffs, including powerplays and shorthanded.
The next chance to see the UMD Women at home is November 21/22 against Minnesota-State Mankato
