Pro Wrestling Legend Ric Flair Visits Duluth, and Heavy On Wrestling!

Click the blog title to view all of the pictures I took at the Heavy on Wrestling event that featured a meet & greet autograph session with 16 time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair.

I'm a few weeks in updating the blog for this event, but it took place on May 28th

Heavy on Wrestling rocked Grandma's Sports Garden May 27, 2010, headlined by an hour + 1/2 meet & greet with 16 time World Champion Ric Flair. The main event featured Ben Sailer defending the brand new Heavy on Wrestling championship belt he earned in November of 2008. After the defense, Mitch Paradise attacked him and maybe set up a match between the two at the next HoW event. Buck Zumhofe and Wild Bill Irwin worked as a tag team in the event also, and got the crowd going during their match.

On August 21st, Heavy on Wrestling provided the evening's entertainment at the South St. Louis County Fair in Proctor, Minnesota. Among the wrestlers in the show were former WWE wrestlers Rikishi & Scotty Too Hotty, known as the tag team "Too Cool." Also in the event were AWA Legend Buck Zumhoffe, former WWE wrestler and Tough Enough trainer Al Snow, with Head, and former WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Honky Tonk Man! Heavy On Wrestling, Superior Wisconsin

I finally made it to a Heavy On Wrestling show in Superior, Wisconsin! This was their THIRD ever show, featuring Terry Funk, Eugene, Lacey Von Erich, Honky Tonk Man and more! The main event was a triple threat LADDER MATCH that a wrestler named Ben Sailer won to face Arik Cannon for the Heavy On Wrestling Championship at a later date.
