Kernz & Kompany High School All Star Game

The Duluth Area girls, and Area boys (with Cloquet) boys teams won their respective Kernz & Kompany high school all star basketball games April 1st, 2009 at Duluth Denfeld High School. Cloquet's Chad Calcaterra won the dunk competition in a 'Dunk-Off' against Cotton's Kenny Schofield

This was a rather dark gym and didn't make for great photography without flash but these are what I got from the night. :)

Outdoor Pictures

When the weather warms up again.. I'll be taking walks with the camera every decent weather day...

I did get a few hour long walks the middle of this month of March when the weather was getting near 55-60 degrees but THIS past week it's been cold as November!

The Cloquet Lumberjacks defeated Duluth Central in the Section 7AAA Semifinals March 13, 2009 at the Hibbing Memorial Arena.

March 11th, the Cloquet Lumberjacks boys basketball defeated the Proctor Rails in a quarterfinal game of the Section 7AAA basketball playoffs.

I have retired my Canon EOS Rebel XS to the closet as my backup camera as of March 5, 2009. I purchased the Canon EOS 50D as a major jump in camera and picture quality so stay tuned for more and better pictures. The above Duluth East/Elk River Section 7AA final was the first shots from the camera, in which I had just enough time to charge the battery in the DECC ticket lobby b4 the game.

Section 7AA Semi-Finals; Cloquet/Esko/Carlton (winner) vs Grand Rapids/Greenway, and Duluth vs Proctor/Hermantown/Marshall (winner). These are separate pages separated by the Cloquet and Duluth games.





February 17th:

Section 7A Semi-Finals; Silver Bay Area (winner) and Chisago Lakes, and Eveleth Gilbert Area (winner)vs Hibbing Chisholm These two games are on the same page, because I didn't do a team index or shoot enough games of any of the 4 teams.

Two Cloquet Lumberjacks Game Galleries Added

Last night, January 13th.. Cloquet-Esko Wrestling took on Rush City. The meet only lasted about an hour total because of weight class forfeits.. you an check out those pictures by clicking HERE



Because wrestling ended so early, I was able to get pictures for my first Cloquet Boys Basketball gallery. The 65-60 Lumberjack win was against the Ashland Oredockers. Check out the basketball pictures HERE



Coming this weekend, a NEW Professional Wrestling gallery, featuring the new Indy promotion out of St. Cloud, Minnesota area, Echo Pro Wrestling. The show is Friday and I hope to have the pictures done and uploaded by Sunday afternoon.

Two galleries of the Duluth Northern Stars (Duluth's combined high school girls' hockey team).. First, Vs Eastview on January 6th, and Vs St. Louis Park on January 10th.

Happy New Year, Looking Ahead to 2009!

I opened my website on June 10th of 2008, and each month got better and better. In June there were 220 unique visitors to my website, and in July 239. each month has been progressively better, breaking the 400 mark in October with 420 unique visitors, and in December, the final count for unique visitors to my website is 483!

This doesn't account for people who've visited multiple times....

While 2462 unique visitors isn't that many.. for a website that only started 6 months ago it's been a successful start and will keep getting bigger and better with more and more photos.
